"I feel lucky knowing that I have such a strong foundation in jazz, Caribbean music, and at the same time was exposed to the great soneros such as Cheo Feliciano, Ruben Blades, Hector La Voe, and Rafael de Jesus. I have taken these roots and have developed my own style of singing, composing and producing my music. I am a person who believes in the future and in the latest innovations (technological and other), and believe that Salsa and Latin Jazz should continue evolving, but we should not forget our roots."

In the late 50's Noah helped formed a Rock group called the Kings covering Ricky Nelson's "Lonesome Town" on a USO recording which went overseas to our troops stationed in Europe. By 1960 he was off on his own singing at various local venues, teen dances and school rallies. He began study with the respected Judy Davis. The highlight of his high school career was winning a coveted opportunity to audition at the world renowned "hungri i' nightclub . It was also during those years he was signed to a minor record label and performed on the bill with the "Shirelles". College years at Fisk University began more intense voice study under James Van Lowe and association with the Fisk University Choir and the famed Jubilee Singers. BIG CITY REVUE BAND MEMBERS (9:00 PM)

Big-City-Revue_aec_4BIG CITY REVUE

Band Members

host the Friday Night Dinner & Dance Party at 9PM

Big City love to party, there ain't no doubt about it, that when this band takes the stage, they are there to play. Great vocals and musicianship is just the beginning of the story. It's apparent in their interaction with the audience. It's obvious when you feel the funky back beat of the rhythm section. They are musicians - musicians.

Visit the Artist Webpage

They cover every style of music from old school Motown to today's current hits, Big City plays it all. They do Retro Swing as well as Retro Disco - they do Hot South of the Border Salsa - They play the Pop Hits from the 80's and 90's - and they play them all - very well.

Here is the secret of their success. The band has been together for over 10 years and in that time has kept the key personnel together, working like a smooth running locomotive. How do you keep that many people together for so long in this ever-changing world of Rock and Roll? Respect. Respect for each other as well as respect for the musical integrity that makes this band so special.

Their love for the music that they perform is infectious. The audience has so much fun that they think they are in another world. Think of Big City Revue as The Future of The Music World - A Few Years Ahead of the Plan.

Vocal and Solo Guitar

Having considered the San Francisco Bay Area home, he began playing in many of the local restaurants and clubs. It wasn't uncommon to hear him playing an afternoon jazz brunch followed by an R&B gig late that night. This, in part, was because of his love for many different styles of music as we as his love for various composers. He has not just shared the stage with, but played with Sting, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., Shanice Wilson, Tevin Campbell, Lydia Pense(Cold Blood), Narada Michael Walden, Earl Klugh, Gerald Alston of the Manhattans, Keb Mo, Bob Weir, Norton Buffalo, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Lisa Fischer and Dominic Miller. He has recorded with numerous bay area groups(Narada Michael Walden, The Braxton Brothers, Ledisi and Anibade, Ricardo Scales, Jean Carne, Dave and Zoe Ellis) as well as many east coast bands(Teodross Avery, Rueben Wilson). His live performances with these and other artist have taken him all over the world(Switzerland, England, France, Russia, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston and Detroit). Cedricke always seems to be searching for new ways to express his highly captivating and emotionally riveting music. It's always front and center in his evolution as a musician. As the quest continues for this "new expression", his fans will be in for a real treat.
